ACSR Conductor (Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced)
Constructed from hard-drawn aluminium wire, concentrically stranded on a galvanized steel core.
Offers high tensile strength and better sag properties.
Designed for economic efficiency and suitable for remote, long-span applications.
Applicable Standards:
IS: 398 (P-2) , IS: 398 (P-5), BS: 215 (P-2), IEC 61089 , ASTM B 232
AAC Conductor (All Aluminium Conductors)
Composed of one or more strands of hard-drawn EC grade aluminium wires.
High current carrying capacity; suitable for low and medium voltage lines.
Ideal for urban areas and coastal regions due to corrosion resistance.
Applicable Standards:
IS 398 – PART 1, BS 215 – PART 1, BS EN 50182.
AAAC Conductor (All Aluminium Alloy Conductors)
Made from high-strength Aluminium-Magnesium-Silicon Alloy.
Superior strength-to-weight ratio, lower electrical losses, and enhanced corrosion resistance.
Widely used for medium and high voltage lines.
Applicable Standards:
IS 398 – Part 4, IEC 61089 – A2, IEC 61089 – A3, BS EN 50182.
AACSR Conductor (All Aluminium Alloy Conductors Steel Reinforced)
Stranded with high-strength Aluminium-Magnesium-Silicon Alloy on a coated steel core.
Offers approximately 50% more strength compared to ACSR with minimal conductivity reduction.
Optimal for extra-long spans and heavy load conditions.
Applicable Standards:
IEC 61089 – A2/S1A, A2/S1B, A2/S3A, ASTM B 711.
