Starting out as a fledgling ACSR conductor manufacturing facility in 1970, DICABS has emerged as India’s largest and only integrated manufacturer of power transmission equipment and a turnkey services provider (EPC). Our world-class manufacturing facilities, vastly experienced team of professionals, and the ability to pioneer newer technologies have earned us a leadership position in the power transmission & distribution sector in India.

Today, we are powering India’s growth with solutions across the entire value chain of power transmission and distribution and a product range that covers nearly 80% of the T&D infrastructure requirements. With path-breaking innovations and a proactive approach to innovation, we have exponentially grown our offerings of products and services.

Established a Transmission Tower Plant

Set up HV Cables Plant

2010

Capacity Expansion of LV & HV Cables unit

2011

Set up EHV Cables Manufacturing up to 550 kV

2012

Commissioned 6.3 MW of wind energy at Kutch

2013

Successfully established Ultra High Voltage Cable Testing Laboratory, the first of its kind in India, having a capability of 500 kV capacity

2014

Successfully established the first phrase of an ambitious expansion program for 3000 KMS of MV Cables and 50000 MTPA of Conductors

2022

Acquisition by GSEC and Monarch Group through NCLT

The Power of Integration

DICABS was established with the objective of providing integrated turnkey power distribution and transmission solutions. We are the only major EPC player with numerous business verticals that are completely backward integrated. By investing in indigenous capabilities and through strategic acquisitions, we have further enabled inorganic growth in addition to building our strengths.

It is this profile that gives the company advantage over other EPC players, which outsource 60-70% of the work, in terms of cost savings and better management logistics.
