DPIL set up a tower manufacturing plant in September 2010 with an installed capacity of 48,000 MT per annum. The plant has state-of-the- art technology (Screw technology) which qualifies the Company to bid for the PGCIL transmission line orders as it is backward integrated to manufacture transmission towers. We expect the company to start bidding for transmission projects in early FY12 as its transmission towers and power transformer capacities become fully operational.
